Arte Sella, where art and nature meet

Jewelry inspired by Nature by Arte Sella

From the collaboration between Marta Burato and Arte Sella, a precious and unique project was born. The artworks of the Val di Sella contemporary art gallery are reinterpreted into jewels made of solid silver (925/1000). The entire proceeds from the sales of the jewellery designed by Marta Burato for Arte Sella will be donated to the construction of new artworks in the natural park.

A precious and original gift idea to bring with you the memory of the magical experience of this journey of art in Nature.

Common Root, Henrique Oliveira, 2019
Common Root, Henrique Oliveira, 2019

"Common Root" was born from the intertwining of two centuries-old oak trees lying on the ground, transfigured by the artist into a work that celebrates the alliance between man and nature in a new union. With the artwork of Henrique Oliveira, Arte Sella inaugurated the reopening after the Storm Vaia damages in 2018. The knot of "Common Root", with Marta Burato's reinterpretation, becomes a bracelet and a necklace in 925/1000 solid silver matched with a natural and ecological cotton cord.

"My wish is that the work can be a kind of transformative energy that plants beneath the surface of the world. It is not about building a sculpture as it is about cultivating it: it will certainly be possible in the future, in the meantime, this dream can be realised through a demanding craftsmanship process. The minds of people are as capable of transforming society as machine technology."
Henrique Oliveira.

The "Sun" 0121-1110=115075, Jaehyo Lee, 2015

The silver jewellery created by Burato for Arte Sella represents accurately the uniqueness of Jaehyo Lee's "Sun" artwork. Thanks to the black and white rhodium plating, Burato recreates the irregularities and colour contrasts between the lighter parts of the chestnut wood and the darker ones obtained by burning it.

"I believe that my work needs no explanation, but rather depends on the observer. My work is a gift, brought by a journey I have undertaken to get to know myself. Art is another language: if the work of art makes someone feel an unspeakable emotion, this emotion is the best possible description."
Jaehyo Lee.

Third Paradise - The Trench Of Peace, Michelangelo Pistoletto, 2017
Third Paradise - The Trench Of Peace, Michelangelo Pistoletto, 2017

Michelangelo Pistoletto's "Trench of Peace" represents a blooming Third Paradise and rises a few steps away from the remains of the trench in the Malga Costa area. A reinterpretation of the symbol of infinity with a large central circle, the "Third Paradise" is a symbol of hope that human intelligence can coexist with the intelligence of nature. With the collaboration between Arte Sella and Marta Burato, this artwork becomes a pair of earrings and a solid silver bracelet.
